She has been passionate about aesthetic surgery even before she enrolled in medical school. Her father is also a surgeon and she had her first impressions of surgery very early in her life. Although it was a norm to work for bigger hospitals and most of her peers did that, she was clear that she wanted to deliver much more than what was being done at the time. Dr. Shilpi completed her MBBS from Sriram Chandra Bhanj Medical College, Cuttack in 2004 and continued with pursuing her MS in General Surgery from IMS-BHU in 2010. She followed this with fellowships from prestigious institutions such as GNH Hospital, Medanta and more particularly from DAFPRS at Laclinic, Montreux, Switzerland. Dr. Shilpi’s experience is extensive, having completed her residency with a MCh in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery from Vardhman Mahavir Medical College & Safdarjung Hospital, Delhi in 2014.
She started her own practice in 2018, SB Aesthetics, a renowned facility with world class facilities, with a goal to stand out with every result delivered while making Patient education a priority as this belief is what has made her popular amongst the many patients that she has treated.
